Super Brownies! ;D

I cannot take full credit for inventing this recipe! I have been inspired by a recipe from Lipstick and Berries Wordpress blog which I’d recommend to anybody looking for more delicious and nutritious healthy recipes! ;D

http://lipstickandberries.wordpress.com/recipes/

The beauty of these brownies is that they’re 100% natural! The ingredients used are all a legitimate part of your fitness diet :). So really these are not a treat at all! Merely just an exciting way of hitting your macros.

The black beans used in these brownies are typical of Caribbean style cooking. Black beans are an excellent source of natural protein and carbohydrates! The dates give the brownies their substance and the fruit provides all of that natural flavour and sweetness!

Who ever said you need butter, sugar and flour to make delicious brownies!?!?

Ingredients:
100g Black beans (soaked overnight)
¾ Cup Oat flour
2x Bananas
10x Stoned Dates
1/3 cup Raisins
½ cup Walnuts
1x Tsp Baking powder
2x Tbsp Cocoa
1x Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1x Small Papaya (Just the pink fruit part! You don’t want any green skin or seeds in there!)

Intructions
  1.  Pre heat your oven to 180 Degrees
  2. Blend the 2 bananas, black beans, dates, cocoa powder, papaya, and vanilla extract until smooth
  3. Combine the blended mixture with your baking powder, oat flour, raisins and walnuts
  4.  Stir thoroughly
  5.  Grease a large baking tray with Coconut Oil and pour the mixture out until almost an inch thick
  6.  Cook for 15 minutes (Mine cooked VERY quickly in 15 minutes and would have burnt if left in any longer… but this may be because I have a fan oven ;D).

And enjoy! Let me know what you guys think of them or if you come up with any other exciting ingredients to add! I think next time I may try these with dried mango and pineapple thrown in!
